IMPAC3T-IP Launches New Toolbox

Towards a broader impact, securing societal and economic benefits from knowledge transfer – LESI is proud to support the launch of the new IMPAC3T-IP toolbox.

Join IMPAC3T-IP on 5 and 6 February 2026 in Antwerp for Towards a broader impact: securing societal and economic benefits from knowledge transfer, a high-level event bringing together Knowledge and Tech Transfer leaders, universities, policymakers, and licensing professionals. Hosted at the University of Antwerp, the event will officially present the IMPAC3T-IP toolbox and Academy™, designed to help TTOs and KTOs tackle a range of different licensing scenarios.

The full Day 1 programme will explore how universities can move beyond traditional economic metrics to embed social responsibility, equity, and co-creation into knowledge-transfer practice. Sessions will be organised around the three driving scenarios developed by IMPAC3T-IP, covering:

  • Valorising Social Sciences, Humanities & Arts (SHAPE) – how to capture, protect, and transfer non-patentable outputs
  • Socially responsible licensing for medical applications – ensuring equitable access to life-saving innovations
  • Co-creation for societal benefit – building genuine partnerships with citizens, government, and industry
  • EU policy & project takeaways – scaling good practices across Member States and Widening countries

Participants will have opportunities for dialogue, networking, and hands-on exploration of the IMPAC3T-IP toolbox.

On day 2, a dedicated IMPAC3T-IP Academy™ training session will take place, offering practical experience with the toolbox and granting a recognised certification.
